 Rawlins was Established in 1868. Rawlins was named after General John A. Rawlins, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army. General Rawlins discovered a Spring here in 1867. General Rawlins was in Rawlins to assist Union Pacific survey the route of the railroad. |
